Therapy

We offer individual, couples, and family therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment.

  • Individuals seek therapy for many different reasons, often during times when they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change. Therapy offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to understand yourself better, process challenges, and build skills to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Common concerns brought to individual therapy include:

    • ADHD-related issues

    • Anxiety, stress, or burnout

    • Depression or persistent low mood

    • Divorce/Separation

    • Grief and loss

    • Life transitions and identity exploration

    • Relationship/Interpersonal challenges

    • Self-esteem and shame

    • Spirituality

    • Trauma or difficult past experiences

    • Work or academic stress

  • Every couple develops patterns. Some patterns foster closeness and connection, while others create distance. Couples therapy supports couples in increasing their relationship satisfaction. Together, we focus on building emotional safety and trust, gently working through past challenges and conflicts, and developing practical skills to help navigate the future, confidently and connected.

Couples often seek support for concerns such as:

    • Communication

    • Conflict Resolution

    • Emotional & physical intimacy

    • Infidelity

    • Life transitions

    • Marriage preparation

    • Relationship decision-making

  • Family therapy provides a supportive space for family members to strengthen understanding, improve collaboration, and work through challenges together. In our work, we thoughtfully explore family dynamics and patterns of interaction, while building practical tools to nurture and maintain healthy, respectful relationships.

Support may be helpful for concerns such as:

    • Child or adolescent challenges

    • Communication difficulties

    • Co-parenting support

    • Divorce or separation

    • Ongoing family conflict

    • Parenting challenges

    • Step-parent integration

The goal of family therapy is to foster connection, clarity, and cooperation—helping each family member feel heard, valued, and supported within the family system.

Wedding rings symbolizing commitment and marriage for premarital counselling and relationship preparation

Premarital Preparation

Our premarital preparation helps dating couples clarify next steps and engaged couples to align on expectations before marriage.

  • The couple meets with the therapist to discuss their relationship, intended direction (dating or engaged), and timeline for premarital preparation.

  • Each partner independently completes an online relationship assessment that evaluates areas like communication, conflict resolution, finances, family expectations, and personality.

There is a $30 USD assessment fee per couple, paid directly to Prepare-Enrich.

  • The results of the assessment are reviewed with the couple, highlighting strengths and identifying areas for growth or discussion. Then, the couple is guided through exercises and conversations designed to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and prepare them for marriage.

Upon, completion, couples receive a Prepare/Enrich certificate, which can be shared with their wedding officiant, if required.
